- Devised the Gamma Formation.
- Proposed Iota Phi's first Election Discussions.
- Wrote the Long-Term Strategic Planning Committee into the bylaws, among other things in collaboration with Derek Ng.
- Wrote the Iota Phi Chapter Risk Management Policy in Fall 2009.
- Restructured, redesigned, and wrote and re-wrote much of Iota Phi Wiki in order to promote written history, chapter transparency, overall active participation, and re-evaluation of chapter policies and procedures.
- Proposed Retention Chairs and recommends goal-setting.
- Designed a hypothetical pledge program to encourage new ideas and membership development.
- Devised the ExComm Crash Course in Fall 2009. Derek Ng co-hosted the first event.

- Wrote the nomination application for Dave Emery to be Fall 2013 namesake.
- Created the first "Alpha Phi Omega - Iota Phi" Facebook group.
- From August 2008 to July 2012, drove a car with license plate reading "Ashish B." Commonly known as the Bhattmobile
- Commonly known as Father India, or Bhattman.
- Ashish's family line has no other official name, but is sometimes called the Coke Line, the Troll Line or the Autobhatts. Combined with Alexander Nguyen's line, it becomes the Head Line because of the rich history of family heads stemming from them.
- Has become a risk management mascot/meme thanks to Jhonatan Paredes.
