The information on this article should be merged into the Service project article and remade into an article about the cardinal principle of Service.

Alpha Phi Omega exists to provide service to the community, the campus on which it resides, the country at large, as well as its own members. We have many different types of service activities, some of which are listed below.

These are major events that we have volunteered at or run; some are still part of the program, others aren't. They're notable or interesting for a variety of reasons.

Service is a very important part of our fraternity. It builds a sense of familiarity to the community and makes a group stronger. Community service allows us to build leadership through finding service events, through starting service events, and through maintaining service events. It enables us to interact with the community around us and give back to the world. Through community service, we build stronger ties with both the people we volunteer with and the people we volunteer for. Service expands our sense of community and grows not only our sympathy, but our empathy for the world.

Replacements: There have been several methods of contacting other individuals in order to find a replacement. Simply contacting a person via phone, email, text, or in person has been used. Other methods include asking the Facebook Group. During the Chew term there was a listserve for replacements. When someone needed a replacement for an event, if you were signed up on the list, you received an email notifying you the need for a replacement.
