Ideas and Contributions
- Devised the Gamma Formation.
- Proposed Iota Phi's first Election Discussions.
- Wrote the Long-Term Strategic Planning Committee into the bylaws, among other things in collaboration with Derek Ng.
- Wrote the Iota Phi Chapter Risk Management Policy in Fall 2009.
- Compiled and extended known records of Region X and Section 4 history. See Region X Wiki.
- Restructured, redesigned, and wrote and re-wrote much of Iota Phi Wiki in order to promote written history, chapter transparency, overall active participation, and re-evaluation of chapter policies and procedures.
- Proposed Retention Chairs and recommends goal-setting.
- Designed a hypothetical pledge program to encourage new ideas and membership development.
- Devised the ExComm Crash Course in Fall 2009. Derek Ng co-hosted the first event.
- Wrote Region X Historian Handbook, released April 14, 2011.
- Wrote Iota Phi Chapter: A History, released September 9, 2011.

- Has a gavel with which he delivers Backhands of Justice™
- Ashish's Line has no other official name, but is sometimes called the Coke Line, the Troll Line or the Autobhatts. Combined with Alexander Nguyen's line, it becomes the Head Line because of the rich history of family heads stemming from them.
