History and Formation

Section A2 was formed after the new region alignment adopted at the 2018 National Convention. This new section alignment became effective as of December 31, 2018. For information on our previous region and section alignment, please see the Region X and Section 4 pages.

List of Section A2 Conferences

Traditionally, two conferences are held every year, in the fall and in the spring. Conference hosts are chosen via election at the spring business meeting. In some years, the section has elected not to host a fall sectionals, either due to Regionals occurring about the same time, to substitute in a fall fellowship event, or simply if no bid proposal was approved at a prior conference.
