Purpose

The purpose of the Gold Pans is to recognize chapters within Section 4 for exceptional efforts and/or achievements in the areas of Leadership, Fellowship, Service, and Overall Program. The Gold Pans intend to applaud a chapter's successful efforts to live the ideals of Alpha Phi Omega. They are a way of sharing the outstanding accomplishments of our fellow chapters.

Procedure

All chapters within Section 4 are eligible for considerations for the Gold Pans. The stated criteria will be the ultimate formula for awarding the pans. However, since Section 4 staff may not be fully aware of the extent of every chapter's work in each program area, supporting documentation will be greatly appreciated. Information requested on the chapter review will assist Section Staff award the pans based on the stated criteria, rather than on what information is available.
