Status of BASOOS

As nice as the BASOOS is, it isn't a chapter award -- it's not given out by the chapter. At least, that's always been my understanding of it. Aaron 18:00, 3 Jun 2007 (PDT)

Which BASOOS is which?

Would it be possible for someone to list out who gave who a BASOOS? Adding to that, when was the BASOOS created and is there any idea who created it? -Ashish Bhatt 15:04, 6 January 2010 (PST)

All the BASOOSes should have been created at the same time (convention in the early 80s, can't recall which one. It would have been created by the national president at that time

As far as giving, umm, Dinh ought to recall better than me. The ones I know is Will --> Sam --> Mike O.; I don't know who gave Roxanne hers, Christina has it now. Tony Toy > Alice Cheng > Will Fraser > Joe Milligan >Lesley Mayson is on the wiki. That leaves 2! Aaron 20:04, 6 January 2010 (PST)

• According to Bella Fong, when she was around (1989-1991), there were six BASOOSes passed down at every chapter banquet. One of those was lost at some point after that time, but before 2002. That narrows down a bit of what happened to those missing two. -Ashish Bhatt 01:25, 30 July 2010 (PDT)
