PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS:
- Also known as Seasons of Giving.
- Created by Herbert Class as their pledge class service project in December 1993.
- Annual service project undertaken by Iota Phi which takes place in the winter. Members go to disadvantaged schools in Davis, Woodland, Winters, West Sacramento, and Sacramento, bearing gifts and giving their time to play, read, and help the children with craft activities.
- Community Credit
- A lot of the children don't speak English but Spanish as their native language, so knowing Spanish is a plus.
- Be prepared to be patient and have fun with the kids.
Trivia
- This event was temporarily known as Seasons of Giving at least in 2005.
- Inspired the Spring Term equivalent, Spring Fling.
