Memorable Moments

  • The Blizzard that rolled in on December 29th and snowed in anyone trying to leave on the 31st. Many wouldn't be able to get out until January 2nd.
  • Parallel Parking in the MIDDLE of the road.
  • Late night runs to Geno's and Pat's for Philly Cheesesteaks.
    • Being mocked by the cashiers for not knowing the right way to order.
  • A whole bunch of brothers road tripped up to NYC to see the ball drop in Times Square.
    • Many of them were the same people who were snowed in earlier and had a few days to kill
  • There are a LOT of toll roads around there. It costs like $10 in tolls to drive from Philly to DC, although that includes a bridge and a tunnel.
    • They charge you $4.00 to drive on I-95 in Delaware. It only crosses the state for 13 miles. They charge it in both directions. Bastards, there's not even any bridges. I know its a turnpike, but $4.00? Both ways? For Delaware? Oooh Wilmington!
  • Camden, NJ is a pit. Except for Rutgers. Some parts of South Philly are no garden spot either.
  • Everyone returned home and a came down with this brutally phlegmmy cold that was nicknamed "The Philly Crud"
  • Football games run really frigging late on the East coast. Like they end at 1 am.
    • The idiot outside our room shouting "How 'bout them Birds?" at 1:30 am.
