Little Bro

Every active member of Iota Phi has the opportunity to get a little bro, thereby becoming a big bro. A little bro is like a student and a friend, someone who that active can help through the pledging process. Little bros are paired to big bros based upon their interests, personalities, etc. Pairings are determined by the pledge parents and BB/LB chairs.

Even after the little bro crosses and becomes an active member, the pair is still retained. When a little bro gets a little bro of their own, that adds to the big bro's family line.

Note: Because the term "Brother" is gender-neutral at Iota Phi, the same goes for "little bro." A little bro can be either a boy or a girl.
