From Merriam-Webster Online, an election is:
- a. an act or process of electing
- b. the fact of being elected
Elections are held at the end of every term to determine the upcoming term's excomm members. Brothers of the chapter are given the power to choose amongst the nominated candidates, based upon their speeches and experience.
