Big Bro Revealing

Big Bro Revealing occurs every term, following Secret Week. This is when every pledge is lined up, by family, and is given the chance to guess who their big bro is. Based upon clues that the pledge has received during Secret Week, he or she will make their guess. Regardless of whether their guess is right or not, their big bro will be revealed to them (hence the name of the event). Big Bro Revealing is one of the highlights of the pledge term. In good fun, actives often try to trick pledges into believing they would be pied in the face or paddled at revealing if their guess is wrong, but don't let that fool you! It doesn't happen because that would be hazing and consequently against risk management.
