Cardinal principles

Alpha Phi Omega (APO) is deeply rooted in three cardinal principles: Leadership, Friendship, and Service. This is summarized by Alpha Phi Omega's motto: "Be a leader, be a friend, and be of service." All chapter programs are meant to advance these principles and instill them in members. In APO, the principles are intended to be exercised together. The organization aims to develop leadership to help people establish a vision, promote friendship to strengthen teamwork, and ultimately use these tools to provide a greater service to humanity.
