Convention
- "Service At Its Peak" was the theme
- Somehow the original bids slogan "Join the Mile High Club" didn't stick

- Suprisingly, Denver isn't that cold in December. Or snowy.
*Iota Phi won the National Man-mile
Memorable Moments
- The "Love Train" to Nationals.
- Organized by Aaron Lipton & Nancy Wong, from Emeryville to Denver and back.
- Choose to take Amtrak because it was much cheaper than flying, and it increase attendance.
- Included brothers from Alpha Alpha Xi, Zeta Omicron, Rho Pi, & Gamma Beta.
- Trip lasted over 30 hours either way.
- Not everyone took the train to Nationals, but everyone took it home.
- Outbound trip was in a car with defective air condition, leading to the delegates being cooked.
- To plug in the assorted laptops and charge ipods, Rickee Nguyen was called ahead to bring a powerstrip when he boarded in Sacramento.
- Squid and gummy bear sandwiches were served on the train.
- The Pepsi Challenge
- Organized by Aaron Lipton & Nancy Wong, from Emeryville to Denver and back.
- "The Rapist Look" was invented by Elyson Serrano.
- Denver lacks any sort of "regional" food. People went to Sonic Burger a lot. And delis.
- Stephanie Liu going berserk when Iota Phi didn't get the "Most Spirited" Award during the banquet.
- It's not a real award.
- I'Phi dropping it like it's hot
- Roll Call.
- Alpha Gamma Gamma's roll call was awesome. Step routinue.
- Roll Call.
- Booty Scoop notes attached to other chapter's doors, urging them to visit the Chapparal room
- They did visit the Chapparal Room. We were popular
- Learning that other chapters like country music. A lot
- Learning that other chapters don't like people chanting "Hip Hop" over their Country music.
Planning the Trip
- First nationals where trip was planned and promoted anyone could remember
- Planning was started Hancock term by Aaron Lipton, Fundraising Chair at that time.
- Fundraising for the Leadership Development Fund was continued by treasurers Alice Cheng, Marissa Kubo, Nancy Wong, & Stephanie Lee.
- Brothers who attended had their hotel room, basic convention registration, and train trip home covered by the LDF fund. That meant that if a brother took the train to Denver, the cost for the entire trip was less than $100 plus food and shopping.
- Attempted to coordinate planning with Section 4, but they didn't play.
