There Have been pledge SAAs in the past. I don't know when it went away, but they were around prior to this. I know when I was around (most of the 90's) we always had them. - RogerClark

OK, I will tell you the secret being cool Alumni. We don't hang around much. I know if I was around you guys a lot my stories of "This is the way things were..." would eventually turn into "This is the way you should do ..." and then I would be one of those Alumni that need to disappear from APhiO for a few years. (To any of the more active alumni out there, this is what I remember annoyed the crap out of me as an active, so you all may be different, but I'm not around much to find out) And for the record, I was at the Fall rush bowling night, and I dropped in on Banquet for a few minutes. If you want to hang, I will be at the "Twilight Walk for Wishes" project on May 21. When and where is the alumni picnic? --RogerClark

The Alumni BBQ is on the same day as the Twilight Walk for Wishes, actually. Saturday, May 21st from 11am-3pm. The location will probably be in a park, but the exact location is TBA as the date draws nearer. I'll keep you updated when I find out anything. Let other IPhi Alumni know if you could. =D --Jackson Thach

No! Alumni BBQ is Saturday, May 20th (12pm)!! =) So you can hang out with cool alumni AND still do service on Sunday! WOOT! SERVICE!!! -- Carol Shu

I plan on telling all the alumni I know (some stretching back to the late 70's), the issue is that I need all the info I can get. Sending out the info with "Some park in Davis" won't help bring them in. The other question I would be "Do we need to bring anything?" --Roger Clark

We will try to get you info ASAP. Alumni do not need to bring anything aside from themselves and an appetite. I think we're gonna try to start an alumni association at the BBQ too, but we'll provide the pens =) Drew Mayen
