The Sturdy Oak is one of many awards given out by Iota Phi Chapter.

Actives who fulfill twice the service requirement (twice hours, twice projects) receive this award for their dedication to service.

The pledge counterpart is the Vigorous Sapling, invented during Hancock Term by the Service Vice-Presidents that term, Chris Takemori and Michelle Jaromay.
