Mission: The mission of KVIE, Inc. is to educate, enrich, enlighten and inspire diverse audiences and individuals through high quality television programming and related services that enhance the quality of life for people in the communities we serve.
Vision: KVIE’s vision is to open minds and change lives, giving people information they need to participate fully in the community we share and the world around us. KVIE uses technologies to connect our region’s diverse communities to one another – children to museums, families to public heath services, voters to government, adult learners to libraries and universities, and senior citizens to social services.
Values Education – KVIE provides educational programs and services for the young and lifelong learners. Our local productions and PBS programming engage the mind and spirit to promote personal and community growth.
Community – As the only locally owned and managed television station in the market, KVIE reflects the community back to itself by creating programs about our region’s past, present and future. We deliver balanced and responsible programs that foster a civil society.
Quality – KVIE presents and produces uninterrupted programs free from commercial influences that provide a springboard for family and community engagement and discussion and are available free to everyone.

- Usually KVIE projects will be a phone bank. You will answer phone calls from community members wanting to become members or donate money and, in return, have gifts sent to them.
- APhiO Brothers often call in pretending to be a donor.
- Very fun project!
- Sometimes! You even get to be on TV!!!!
