Disbandment

• On November 23, 2016, Salty Crew officially disbanded. Seeing as there was nothing left we should be salty about and with many of the members leaving soon, we felt like it was best that we no longer convened for salty reasons. If you must be salty, we ask that you do so for positive change. Be the example that you want to see. We're no longer the grassroots group we used to be, with many of us holding positions of influence on the chapter at this point in time. We hope that our efforts to improve our chapter over the past few terms have provided each pledge class with something to believe in and we hope the environment we have created is something that our brothers truly call family or home. It was a good run and it is now our turn to sit back and watch what the rest of you are able to accomplish.

Establishment

• Founded on the night of Wu Term Rush Week Event: Ice Cream Social, February 24th, 2015, when Javier Orozco and Stanton Ho stayed for 3 hours after everyone left, talking about life. At this exact moment, Salty Crew was brought into existence over the bonding of two pledge brothers and their dissatisfaction with some things that were happening in the fraternity.

Tradition

• You can always find us at chill, social fellowships, usually talking about life and the fraternity
• SNR is our go-to fellowship to convene
• It's not a salty crew picture if we're not missing someone
