History

In the Fall of 2011, a young man named Kevin Luu thought of a great idea. He wanted a fellowship where brothers can come together to enjoy each other's sausages. He came up with the perfect plan with a set date and time. In his attempt to bring his idea to Fellowship Vice Presidents of Fall 2011 Zlatkovich term, the FVPs (Emmanuel Aglubut and Christian Machuca) denied his idea. It was never mentioned again.

In the Spring of 2012, two young men named Kevin Luu and Timothy Mascarinas discussed the idea of reviving Sausuage Fest. They discussed out the different sausages that could be used to bring Iota Phi's brothers closer together. They attempted to bring this idea to Fellowship Vice Presidents of Spring 2012 Serrano Term. However, the FVPs (Fanny Wong and Michelle Li) denied their request. It was never mentioned again.

In the Fall of 2012, a young man named Kevin Ta overheard the history of Sausage Fest. He heard of the Fellowship idea was turned down for the past year. Kevin Ta discussed the idea of reviving the Sausage Fest Fellowship with Kevin Luu and Timothy Mascarinas a final time. He diligently promoted the idea of a Sausage Fest on the Iota Phi Fellowship Facebook group. The idea of a Sausage Fest was ridiculed and thought of as a joke. However, he continued to fight for the idea of someday hosting a Sausage Fest Fellowship. He continued to bring up the idea on the Iota Phi Fellowship Facebook Group, and he continued to write his idea in the Fellowship suggestion box. However, Fellowship Vice Presidents of Fall 2012 Harty term continued to ignore his request. One day, Kevin Ta confronted Fellowship Vice President Cody Harper about the idea of a Sausage Fest Fellowship. After much discussion, FVPs agreed to have the Sausage Fest Fellowship official on the Iota Phi Calendar. On November 4, 2012, Sausage Fest fellowship was officially hosted by its three Founding Fathers. It's Honorary Member, Sam Le, was the chef of the fellowship. Many sausages were sacrificed that day to feed the hungry stomachs of 19 people:
