Far Family is a family that anyone can join. Seeing as the physical phenomena of being Loose and Tight are logical opposites of one another, Sarn Saeteurn felt that Close too needed an opposite. Thus, Far was born. Like most great Iota Phi groups, Far Family was founded at the CoHo. The reason you've never seen it at Family Revealing or heard of anyone in it is because its members are far away. Far Family does have meetings, however. These meetings are conducted online using webcam sessions via TokBox, and they include alumni, actives, and pledges. Meetings are called by anyone who wants one whenever they feel like it.
