Held every odd-numbered year, so that in any given year there is a Nation or a Regional conference, not both. Some years the Region conference is held in preference to a Fall Section Conference, although this is not always the case. A multi-day event focused around workshops, developing ties throughout the region, and developing the leadership and service potentials and resources of the chapters in attendance. Hosts for the region conference are selected by election during the region business meeting each National conference.
Past and Present Regionals:
- 2009 Davis, Hosted by Iota Phi (See Regionals 2009)
- 2007 San Diego Hosted by Rho Pi
- 2005 San Jose Hosted By Gamma Beta
- 2003 Anaheim Hosted by ?
- 2001 San Diego Hosted By Rho Pi - UC San Diego
- 1999 Seattle Hosted by Gamma Alpha-University of Washington
- 1997 Oakland Hosted By Gamma Gamma
- 1995 Portland Hosted By Zeta Psi - University of Oregon
- 1993 San Jose Hosted By Gamma Beta
Note: Prior to 1998 Region X and Region XI were one Region. The 1999 Regionals were the only combined Regional. Until 2003 regionals were held between Christmas and New Years, much like Nationals however they typically started on the 28th rather than the 27th and were 1 day shorter.
As a result, the 1999 regionals were miserably attended due to Y2K Related travel fears.
