The Leadership Lion was created during Harty term in the Fall of 2012 by Membership Vice Presidents Krizia Haag and Kevin Ta. It is an award presented to the active member that attended the most leadership activities including workshops during the respective term. It is usually passed on to the next recipient at Banquet.

Its pledge counterpart is the Leadership Cub.
