Parent's Nite Out is a project that was originally thought of and created by Genie Le and Clayton Luu.
It is a night of rest and relaxation for the parents of special needs kids in the Yolo County area. We plan crafts and activities for the kids to get to know each other and interact. Their parents get a nice night by themselves to relax.
This project was originally done as part of Fong-Quan's Pledge Class Projects but after discussion with Alternative Reccreation of Davis we decided to partner with the City and use the 3rd and B Teen Center Facility.
This event has grown to have around 15 participants regularly with around 25-30 kids who have participated in the event.
