Welcome to Far Family (Absit Familia). Far Family is a family that anyone can join. Seeing as the physical phenomena of being Loose and Tight are logical opposites of one another, Sarn Saeteurn felt that Close too needed an opposite. Thus, Far was born. Like most great Iota Phi groups, Far Family was founded at the CoHo. You've never seen it at Family Revealing or heard of anyone in it because its members are far away. As such, Far Family meetings are called online via webcam by and for any alumni, actives, and pledges whenever they feel like it. Members are encouraged to screenshot the webcam sessions and post them here.
Membership
The only way to join Far Family is to attend a Far Family meeting, i.e. webcam sessions. If you are a non-member, you can simply start a webcam session, announce it as a Far Family meeting, and invite anyone that is part of the Fraternity (alumni, actives, pledges); and you and anyone who joins in becomes part of Far Family. You may use tinychat, which supports up to 12 people, as one way to start a Far Family meeting. The core value of Far Family is inclusivity.
