Biography
John W. Jones was a member of the University of California Davis Police Department in the latter 1970s. While at Davis, he served for over 20 years as an advisor to Iota Phi. John has also served the Scouts for over 25 years in total. He received a Masters in Business Administration from UC Davis.[1]

Trivia
- Brother John drove the red Boy Scout bus that busted its oil line in the BASOOS origin story.
- John Jones Road is a street in Davis named after Brother John. It is located by the 113 freeway on Covell Blvd, just before Shasta Drive.
