DISCOVER: Discovering Personal Strengths and Success Skills (part of the L.E.A.D.S. workshop series)
Course Length: 3 Hours
Minimum Number of Participants: 12 Maximum Number of Participants: 30
Prerequisite: LAUNCH.
This course focuses on strategies, including time and stress management, assertive communication, and self-motivation techniques. The DISCOVER course will be an opportunity to look at yourself and your personal strengths, and to develop a plan for continued personal and professional success.
Objectives:
- To understand social interaction styles of yourself and others and their effects on relationships.
- To provide assertiveness skills that will help you be a better individual, Brother, leader and team member.
- To identify motivating factors that will enable you to be the most effective and efficient in what you want to do.
- To provide time management skills to make most efficient use of your time.
- To help recognize stress and find ways to reduce it.

- Discussion on the interaction of different Personality Styles.
- How to be assertive, and be successful in actions.
- Learning strategies for better Time Management.
- How to recognize you might be under stress.
- Motivation of self and individuals.
