	~~----~~		Zeta Omicron is the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo chapter of Alpha Phi Omega.

			On May 24, 1948 , the Zeta Omicron Chapter was established at Cal Poly. There were 31 students in the chartering group and 7 advisers. Zeta Omicron’s first president was Robert Kimball. Since then Zeta Omicron remained successful until it was declared inactive in the 1980’s.

	~~Website:~~ http://www.aposlo.com/		The re-chartering effort was initiated in Spring 1992 by one gentleman who was a former eagle scout at Cal Poly. The effort was pushed over the top when group of about 23 people, including former San Luis Obispo Councilman Paul Brown, got aboard. The members in the re-chartering class were all active members in other fraternities and sororities on campus. Some were members of Order of Omega, an honor society for active Greeks that had given a lot to their respective houses. Each individual was looking for a way to work together and give back to Cal Poly and community. Alpha Phi Omega was chosen since it was co-ed and
			focused on community service.

			On June 6,1992 Gamma Beta chapter conducted the initiation ritual and Alpha Phi Omega-Zeta Omicron was finally re-chartered with 24 new members and 4 advisors.
